Day 11 – Alaska to Massachusetts
We eventually landed on mainland USA, after a 10 hour flight, and it felt good knowing that I was close to getting the new RGS1200 between my legs. I still had two more adventures to see before the road trip really started around the states. As we arrived in to Portland, MA there was anticipation as we knew our next stop was Matha’s Vineyard. A place very wellknown, mostly because it is where they filmed ‘Jaws’, but also it is one of the few places that still sail working Tallships. We drove through Boston straight down to the ferry at Woods Hole, which took us to our destination.
We had a well deserved rest and knew the next day was an early call.
