Day 10 – Alaska biking

Stumbling around on a Glacier in the morning is something few people (comparatively) can say they have ever done and I am proud to say I was one of them. We packed away our gear and headed back down to find the plane. Waiting nervously for some cloud to dissipate to make sure it was an easy and quick retreat. Luckily for us it was.

The last two nights I have had very little sleep but landing back on solid concrete, knowing I had a 2 hour bike ride ahead of me gave me more excitement and I suddenly had a burst of energy to get back on. We took our time driving back, experiencing the beauty of Alaska – we got some gorgeous photos. Alas, our journey was already over in this beautiful state. We now travel back to the Airport for our final flight to New England. From there we will be picking up the bikes and finally, only driving, around the rest of the U.S.A.
