Take part in an amazing Spanish adventure.

This two-week tour will leave you wanting ‘Moor’ as we explore the incredible landscape of southern Spain and its heavily Arab-influenced architecture and history. Starting with a relaxed overnight ferry to Santander, our route then takes us via Pamplona, home of the world-famous ‘Running of the Bulls’, and the UNESCO heritage towns of Cuenca and Ubeda, two very different, very characterful cities. We will then ride through the Sierra Nevada and the beautiful mountain roads of this region, the back drop for many Spaghetti Western films, on our way to Granada and the famous 14th Century fortress-palace of the Alhambra.

We’ll enjoy two nights in Granada, providing ample time to explore the cultural and historical highlights of this ancient city. Jerez is well-known for its sherry, flamenco dancing and horses.

The completion of the annual wine harvest is celebrated with the Fiesta Vendimia y Otoño, a city-wide festival which sees the orange tree-lined streets filled with dancers, musicians, food, drink, concerts and more. We’ll spend a day joining in with the party, before turning north and enjoying three more days of riding and nights in wonderful hotels and paradors. Combining hearty Spanish food, incredible roads and the incomparable Jerez festival, this riding holiday is packed with culture.
