The next morning is when the African adventure begins, riding to the port and taking a ferry crossing to the Spanish state of Cueta. You will stay one night in Cueta, and it’s an early start the next morning with 200 miles to cover to the Imperial City of Rabat. Rabat is the second largest city in Morocco, located on the Atlantic Ocean on the mouth of the river Bou Regreg. It’s a bustling metropolitan and one of the most important cities in the country.

After an evening spent in Rabat, you have two days to explore the wonders of the Red City, Marrakech. With its lively marketplace, home to an array of spices, clothing, and handmade goods, allow yourself enough time to get lost in the alleyways and hidden corners of the marketplace, bartering with locals and experiencing a day in the Medina. The next stop along the Atlantic coast is Essaouira, hear the sea gulls roar above the fishing harbour and the scents of spices and fish sweeping through the narrow alleyways. You will stay here for one night, heading to the countryside the following day.

Over the next few days yourself and your fellow riders will bask in the glory of the Atlas Mountains. Highlights include the Tiz n’ Test Pass, cutting right through the mountains and is a monumental 2,000 metres skywards. As well as this, you will ride through even more remote locations and visit the UNESCO listed Alt Ben Haddou, featured in films including The Mummy, Gladiator and Jesus of Nazareth. On this day you have the option to ride the infamous Dades and Todra Gorges an adrenaline filled ride, through these astounding formations.

Two nights are spent in Fes, an iconic city known for its winding streets so typical of Morocco. North from Fes you will cross back into Cueta for one final night before the return ferry crossing to Spain. Your last night here is spent amongst the friends you have made over the past 14 days, enjoy dinner and sharing the memories made across a captivating country of Africa.
